Ok, I think I'll start blogging again, soon. I'll probably start a new blog though, this one feels cluttered. By the way I used to live in that gorgeous house pictured below.

I was at a place called Jackfish Lake last week. It rained a lot. It was fun non the less. I also visited a friend on the thunderchild reserve, which was very special. more to come, maybe. Or maybe I'll just wait until I have something deeply profound to say before I post again.

Live from the gooseberry

From the Washington Post (whole article)
WAYNESVILLE, N.C., May 7 -- Some in Pastor Chan Chandler's flock wish he had a little less zeal for the GOP.
Members of the small East Waynesville Baptist Church say Chandler led an effort to kick out congregants who did not support President Bush.

I hate politics. I wonder what it's like down there, in the States, all the patriotism and political type stuff. In Norway there was some nationalism but I get a different vibe from the American stuff. Norway is an old country, they have "old" nationalism. America, eh, GOP, eh, sigh... protestantism.
Today is Mother's Day, I'm going to a Holocaust memorial service at the Shul this afternoon.

Shabbat Shalom

I haven't posted in a while... not much to say I guess. Good Sabbath from Canada's fattest city (quite literally). I supose I still don't have too much to say but couldn't let a whole week go by without saying anything.

?
'Then, too, it is out of the sons of the sojourners who live as aliens among you that you may gain acquisition, and out of their families who are with you, whom they will have produced in your land; they also may become your possession.
'You may even bequeath them to your sons after you, to receive as a possession; you can use them as permanent slaves. But in respect to your countrymen, the sons of Israel, you shall not rule with severity over one another.
?
Any insights? oh well.
So I had a Scrabble party last week, went to a rap show featuring Ira lee and Gruff the Druid, baked chicken in the oven, worked on getting my passport, tutored Taylor my 8 year old student, I watched the sun rise and set alone and with friends, and I'm hatching a plan to produce a full "album" of electronic music over the next week or three.

Happy Karaite Lag B'omer!

There's a new Marzipan answering machine and it's FUH Nee.
Shabbat is coming, I can feel it.
Have a good one!
(Oh yeah, I think Pentecost, Buddha's Birthday and Karaite Shavuot all fall on the same day this year, hahaha.)
